### 1. What We Collect
**From you (the dealer):** account details (name, email, dealership, phone),
billing information (processed by our payment provider — we never store full
card numbers), and usage data (features used, leads viewed/contacted, device
and log data).

**About vehicle listings:** publicly posted listing information from
third-party marketplaces and data providers, which may include a seller's
listed contact details as published by the seller.

### 2. How We Use It
To provide and improve the service; to personalize your territory feed; to
send service emails and (with consent) product updates; to measure what works.
**We do not sell your personal information.** We do not use your dealership's
activity data to benefit competing dealers.

### 3. Seller Listing Data
Listing data we display was made public by sellers on third-party platforms.
We display it to subscribing dealers for the purpose of direct, lawful contact
about the listed vehicle. If you are a seller and want your listing removed
from DealScout, email [privacy@dealscout-domain.com] and we will remove it
within [7] days.

### 4. Sharing
We share data only with service providers who help us operate (hosting,
payments, email, analytics), under contracts limiting their use; with
authorities when legally required; and in a merger/acquisition with notice.

### 5. Retention & Security
Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymized
within [90] days of a deletion request. Listing data is refreshed continuously
and stale listings are purged. We use industry-standard security (encryption
in transit, access controls, row-level data isolation per customer).

your personal data. Residents of states with privacy laws (e.g., California,
Colorado, Texas, Florida) may have additional rights, which we honor.
